Modern Inspired Wedding at The Rose Center

After tying the knot at their church, Dalia and Armando headed to the Rose Center for cocktail hour and reception. By the time guests arrived at the venue, the sun had set, and market lights lit up the sky in the courtyard creating a magical space. A welcome sign, card box, and guest book were placed at the entrance so that attendees could drop off their gifts and sign their well wishes before heading in. Everyone was greeted with tray passed Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes and an open bar serving up the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Greyhound and Paloma. Guests mixed and mingled until they were met by the bride and groom towards the end of cocktail hour who invited them inside to enjoy dinner.

A seating chart helped everyone find their assigned tables inside where centerpieces of dried and fresh florals decorated the room. A modern installation with neon sign attached acted as the backdrop to Dalia and Armando’s sweetheart table and matching dessert display stood off to the side. Once everyone was seated, the newlyweds made their grand entrance into their first dance. The couple swayed side to side as guests watched with loving eyes, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared just as dinner was served. Zucchini Lime Chicken, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, and Tangerine and Pecan Salad filled everyone’s plates and glasses clinked in the air as each speech ended. The menu was selected by the bride and groom during their planning process with our Event Specialist, Sierra. Rave dinner reviews were shared around each table, then it was time for some traditional wedding fun. Dalia tossed her bouquet, and Armando tossed the garter, both events bringing an uproar of cheering and laughter from the crowd. The remainder of the evening was spent between posing at the photo booth and dancing out on the dance floor surrounded by family and friends.
